Bellator’s new light heavyweight signee Corey Anderson is set to make his Bellator debut. MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn reports that Anderson will fight MMA legend Melvin Manhoef at Bellator 251 on November 5th. Bellator 251 will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
After five years of competing in the UFC, Anderson is ready to start fresh with Bellator. He left the promotion as one of the top contenders in the division. Now with Bellator, Anderson has become an immediate threat in Bellator’s light heavyweight division. He is looking to bounce back from his knockout loss against Jan Blachowicz from February 15th at UFC Fight Night 167. An impressive win over Manhoef may lead to a number one contender fight for the Bellator light heavyweight championship.

His last loss was against former Bellator middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho by knockout at Bellator 176 on April 8, 2017. At 44 years old, Manhoef is still looking to compete against the best in Bellator. A win over Anderson can set Manhoef up for a potential big fight in the light heavyweight division.
