Adrian Lee Returns at ONE Fight Night 40 After First Loss; Main Event Revealed

19-year-old prospect Adrian Lee aims to rebound from his first career loss as he faces Shozo Isojima at ONE Fight Night 40, while the main event features a rematch between Jackie Buntan and Stella Hemetsberger for the ONE women’s strawweight kickboxing title.

19-year-old prospect Adrian Lee is eager to get back in the cage. After facing the first loss of his career, he’s determined to bounce back.

Adrian, the younger sibling of ONE champions Christian and Angela Lee, started his career with a 3-0 record. But then he faced grappling expert Tye Ruotolo. A thrilling back-and-forth battle ended with Ruotolo winning via a second-round rear-naked choke. Now, Adrian’s on a mission to turn the tide.

He’s set to face Shozo Isojima at ONE Fight Night 40. This event will unfold at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Feb. 13.

Interestingly, this matchup was supposed to happen earlier in March. However, Isojima had to withdraw. Since then, Isojima secured a win over Nicolas Vigna but also fell to Ruotolo via rear-naked choke in November.

Both fighters are keen to avoid consecutive losses when they clash in February. The stakes are high for both Adrian and Isojima.

The main event is equally thrilling. The ONE women’s strawweight kickboxing title is up for grabs as Jackie Buntan faces Stella Hemetsberger in a rematch.

Their first bout was under Muay Thai rules, with Hemetsberger clinching a unanimous decision. Now, the stage is set for Buntan to seek revenge in the kickboxing rematch.
