Alexa Grasso Withdraws from UFC 324, New Opponent for Rose Namajunas

Natalia Silva, stepping in for Alexa Grasso, will face Rose Namajunas at UFC 324 on January 24, 2026, in Las Vegas, as she seeks a title shot after her 7-0 UFC streak.

Natalia Silva’s path to a title shot just got a bit longer. She needs one more fight at UFC 324 to earn her chance.

Originally, Alexa Grasso was set to face Rose Namajunas on January 24, 2026. But plans changed. On Wednesday, MMA Fighting confirmed Grasso’s withdrawal. Silva, ranked No. 2, steps in. Sherdog broke the news first.

Silva’s record is impressive: 19-5-1. She was seen as the next challenger for Valentina Shevchenko. After UFC 322, even the champ acknowledged her. Silva’s on a roll with a 7-0 UFC streak, including a win over Grasso at UFC 315.

Namajunas, with a 14-7 record, is no stranger to titles. A former two-time strawweight champ, she moved to 125 pounds in 2023. Her record in this division? 3-2. She last beat Miranda Maverick at UFC Atlanta.

Mark your calendars for January 24. UFC 324 hits T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
