Alexandre Pantoja will debut custom VENUM fight shorts featuring Japanese dragons and Brazilian wave graphics for his fourth title defense against Kai Kara-France at UFC 317.
Alexandre Pantoja’s gearing up for his fourth title defense at UFC 317 with some fresh custom fight shorts. Exciting, right?
The UFC, teaming up with VENUM, dropped this new addition to their Unrivaled collection. Pantoja’s set to defend his flyweight title against Kai Kara-France in the co-main event at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.
Curious about the shorts? Check them out below.
Pantoja had a hand in the design, infusing his unique style and beliefs. Pretty cool.
“In designing this, Pantoja chose to depict mythological Japanese dragons, symbols of power, wisdom, and good fortune,” the description reads. His Brazilian roots shine through with wave-inspired graphics, echoing the iconic beaches of his homeland.
Back in the octagon for the first time in 2025, Pantoja’s ready. “The Cannibal” defended his 125-pound championship twice in 2024, taking down Steve Erceg at UFC 301 and dominating Kai Asakura with a second-round submission at UFC 310.
He snagged the title after a Fight of the Year contender decision win against Brandon Moreno at UFC 290 in July 2023. What a journey!
