Dana White’s Epic Clap Back to Major UFC Sponsor Over Trump Post

UFC CEO Dana White stands by his principles and refuses to be censored by sponsors, expressing his support for Donald Trump and defending the UFC’s partnership with Bud Light in the face of criticism.

Dana White revealed that a major UFC sponsor attempted to censor him after he made a video post supporting former president Donald Trump. He expressed his refusal to be controlled, saying, “One of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? Go f*** yourself.” White emphasizes that he refuses to be told who to vote for or what to say, asserting that he will work only with those he is aligned with.
Following the UFC’s continued success and the company’s strong relationship with sponsors, White now has the ability to choose who he wants to work with. He explains, “I’m at a point now in my life and my career where I want to be with people that I’m aligned with,” indicating that his decision is not solely based on financial gains.
White also addressed the criticism over the UFC’s partnership with Bud Light, defending the decision by pointing out the brand’s positive impact on American employment and contributions to veterans and first responders’ families. He firmly believes that the partnership with Bud Light is the right move for him and that they are aligned in their core values.
White made it clear that he is proud of the partnership the UFC is building with Bud Light, emphasizing that he will not apologize to those who disagree with the decision. He stated, “I’m not going to f****** apologize to you,” boldly standing by his choices.
