Demetrious Johnson Stuns KSI in Grappling Challenge Seconds

KSI attempted a one-minute grappling challenge with former UFC champ Demetrious Johnson, starting in full mount, but lasted less than 20 seconds.

KSI knew he was in over his head grappling with former UFC flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson. But he didn’t quite expect the outcome to be so swift.

The Misfits Boxing fighter and promoter joined Johnson for a session on Johnson’s YouTube channel. They agreed to a one-minute grappling challenge. KSI would start in full mount and try to survive for 60 seconds.

Spoiler alert: he didn’t even last 20 seconds. Check out the video below.

KSI hasn’t been in the ring since his first loss to Tommy Fury at Misfits Boxing’s The PRIME Card in October 2023. He’s been lined up for several fights since, including one with Dillon Danis for Misfits Boxing 21 in March. Sadly, an illness forced him to pull out, and he hasn’t been rebooked.

Meanwhile, Johnson is thriving in the MMA YouTube scene post-retirement from ONE Championship. Widely regarded as the greatest flyweight ever, his legacy as a UFC champion is unmatched.
