Dillon Danis’ attorneys requested to reschedule his deposition in a lawsuit with Nina Agdal due to injuries from a brawl at UFC 322, while he was also removed from a Misfits Boxing fight for medical reasons and banned from future UFC events.
Dillon Danis’ legal team is seeking a new date for his deposition in the ongoing lawsuit with Logan Paul’s wife, Nina Agdal. This request follows a brawl at UFC 322, which allegedly left Danis injured.
Court documents filed on Friday reveal that Danis wants to delay his deposition, originally set for Dec. 9. The lawsuit stems from Agdal suing Danis for posting provocative images of her online before his 2023 boxing match with Paul.
“My understanding is that defendant is in California seeking medical treatment for a severe concussion,” Danis’ lawyers stated. The injury reportedly occurred during a Nov. 15 brawl at Madison Square Garden, where he was allegedly assaulted by at least 10 people.
Due to this, Danis cannot attend the Dec. 9 deposition in New Jersey. Agdal’s counsel has requested January dates for the deposition, which Danis’ team plans to provide by Dec. 12.
Interestingly, Danis was also removed from his upcoming fight against Anthony Taylor in Misfits Boxing. He was supposed to defend his Misfits MMA title but was deemed medically unfit to compete.
The brawl involved members of Islam Makhachev’s team at UFC 322, leading to police intervention and Danis being ejected. NYC Mayor Eric Adams later stated that the incident was under investigation, though no charges were filed.
UFC CEO Dana White admitted fault for allowing Danis to stay at the event before the chaos erupted. White has since banned Danis from all future UFC events.
“You will never see Dillon Danis at a UFC fight ever again,” White declared post-UFC 322. “That [incident] and a lot of other reasons [are why we’d never sign him].”
Regarding the lawsuit, Danis faces allegations from Agdal, who seeks at least $150,000 per violation. She also demands punitive damages, attorney fees, and a restraining order to prevent further unauthorized disclosures of explicit images.
