After Poirier’s last bout against Max Holloway at UFC 318, Jolie took to Instagram. She shared a heartfelt message, celebrating his journey both inside and outside the octagon.

“I always dreaded you leaving the sport,” she confessed. But as time passed, gratitude replaced dread. “The good, the bad, the ups, the downs,” she continued, highlighting the lessons learned along the way.

“You’ve inspired us all,” Jolie wrote, emphasizing the dreams he’s chased despite obstacles. She praised the life they’ve built and expressed excitement for their future.

“Congrats on an amazing fighting career!” she exclaimed. Jolie promised unwavering support, admiration, and love as they embark on this new chapter. A true role model for their daughter and soon-to-arrive baby boy.

Poirier, known as “The Diamond,” retired with a record of 30-10, 1 NC. Notably, he achieved 22 wins in the octagon, including victories over Holloway and Conor McGregor.
