Henry Cejudo is gearing up for a return to wrestling on Feb. 28. He’ll face off against fellow UFC veteran Urijah Faber at RAF 6 in Tempe, Ariz.
Real American Freestyle spilled the beans on Friday. They also announced that MMA flyweight standout Muhammad Mokaev will wrestle Bryce Meredith. Oh, and Clay Guida? His opponent’s still a mystery.
Cejudo’s making his comeback less than three months after his last UFC bout. He hung up his gloves after losing four straight since 2023, including a decision loss to Payton Talbott.
Faber’s been busy on the grappling scene. In 2024, he defeated Jeff Glover and Bibiano Fernandes. His last MMA stint was in 2019, where he surprised Ricky Simon with a quick knockout but fell to Petr Yan in his final fight.
Looking ahead, RAF’s next event is set for Jan. 10 in Sunrise, Fla. Expect fireworks as Colby Covington and Luke Rockhold headline, with Arman Tsarukyan vs. Lance Palmer and Yoel Romero vs. Bo Nickal also on the card.
