Jamahal Hill ready to challenge winner of Jiri Prochazka vs. Alex Pereira at UFC 295

Jamahal Hill will sit front and center at UFC 295 and plans to scout both fighters, Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira, with the promise from the UFC that he’ll get the first shot at the new champion next year after being forced to relinquish his belt due to a ruptured Achilles tendon injury.

Unfortunately, despite having won the light heavyweight title in January, Jamahal Hill will not be able to defend his title at UFC 295 due to a ruptured Achilles tendon. However, he has been assured by the UFC that he will receive the first shot at the new champion next year. In his absence, Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira will be competing for the title.

Prochazka, much like Hill, was forced to vacate his UFC title due to injury. He is known for his unorthodox and unpredictable striking and grappling style, but has faced challenges in previous fights. On the other hand, Pereira is a GLORY Hall of Famer and a skilled striker, but may struggle with his size at light heavyweight.

Hill anticipates that when Pereira faces Prochazka, Pereira’s strategy will be to pressure Prochazka and force him to throw precise counterstrikes. Meanwhile, Hill believes Prochazka will use his strength and physicality to potentially negate Pereira’s striking by taking the fight to the floor.

Ultimately, Hill is most focused on making a strong comeback and getting the next title shot upon his return. He wants to participate in big shows and give a memorable performance, with the goal of attracting a large audience.
