Jared Gordon Knocks Out Thiago Moises at UFC Vegas 106

Jared Gordon secured a decisive victory with a first-round knockout against Thiago Moises at UFC Vegas 106, ending the fight at 3:37 with a powerful right hand and follow-up punches, avoiding the need for judges’ decisions.

Jared Gordon’s been dealing with some tough calls lately. So, he decided to skip the judges this time with a first-round knockout at UFC Vegas 106. Boom!

Early on, he tangled with Thiago Moises on the ground. Then, out of nowhere, Gordon unleashed a perfectly timed right hand. Moises hit the canvas hard. Just like that, Gordon dropped a couple more bombs from above, and the ref had to step in.

The fight wrapped up at 3:37 in the first round. Quick, huh? “I was a little hesitant,” Gordon admitted post-fight. “Thought he’d go for a takedown. But I knew my boxing was better. Caught him good.”

Even against a top grappler like Moises, Gordon wasn’t afraid to take it to the ground. Though, Moises did land a shot that opened a nasty gash on Gordon’s forehead. Ouch.

Luckily, the cut didn’t bleed too much. Gordon kept up the pressure until Moises got back on his feet. Bad move for Moises, though. Gordon’s right hand twisted his head around, sending him down again.

No chance for Moises to recover. Gordon followed up with more punches, putting him to sleep. The ref had no choice but to step in and stop the fight.

Gordon feels he should be on a longer winning streak, having lost decisions to Paddy Pimblett and Nasrat Haqparast. But this time? No scorecards needed. Just a brutal knockout added to his resume from UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
