Jean Silva, an undefeated UFC fighter, showcased his finishing skills by putting a fan to sleep with a rear-naked choke at a Muay Thai event in Brazil, which he documented on his YouTube channel.
Jean Silva is quite the finisher. In April, he submitted Bryce Mitchell with a ninja choke at UFC 314, marking his record at 5-0—all finishes. That was Silva’s first submission win in the UFC, and now he’s hungry for more.
Recently, Silva added another choke to his list. This time, it was a fan at a Muay Thai event in Brazil. The No. 11-ranked UFC featherweight was mingling with fans, snapping pics, and just having a good time.
Then, the unexpected happened. A fan asked Silva to choke him. And Silva, being Silva, obliged. He locked in a rear-naked choke, holding on until the fan passed out, even after tapping. The whole thing? Caught on Silva’s YouTube channel.
When the fan came to, he was a bit dazed but quickly smiled and laughed it off. Silva’s friend chimed in, joking, “This guy not only is the most aggressive, he’s the most out of it as well.” Laughter ensued, and Silva went back to mingling.
