Jon Jones Teases UFC Return: Story Unfinished

Jon Jones, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, is not finished with his fighting career, as he plans to continue adding to his legacy with future bouts, despite no confirmed date for his next fight against interim champion Tom Aspinall.

Jon Jones isn’t done collecting accolades in his remarkable career. On Friday, he showcased an impressive collection of fight posters from his time in the UFC. Yet, he hinted there’s more to come.

He mentioned he still needs to frame the poster from his recent win over Stipe Miocic. “Been moving a million miles an hour lately,” he wrote on Instagram. There’s one last perfect spot on my wall of victory.

Each poster tells a story. Different chapters, different battles. Wins that meant the world. Fights that made history. It’s not just artwork; it’s legacy.

“My career hasn’t been perfect,” Jones admits, “but undeniably legendary.” He reflects on his growth—not just as a fighter, but as a man, a leader, a family guy. “My mother would be proud,” he says.

The wall’s almost filled. But the story? Still being written. The best is yet to come.

That last line suggests he’s not done fighting. There’s eager anticipation about when he’ll compete again. All signs point to a showdown with interim champ Tom Aspinall. Yet, Aspinall’s growing frustrated with the silence.

Rumors swirl that Aspinall might face Ciryl Gane instead. UFC 317, International Fight Week 2025, needs a main event. Nothing’s confirmed, though.

UFC CEO Dana White insists they’re focused on Jones vs. Aspinall in 2025. Jones plans to fight again, but when? That’s the mystery.
