Jon Jones UFC Update: White House, Chimaev Wrestling, RPG Firing

Jon Jones aims to return at UFC White House in June 2026, targeting a fight with Alex Pereira, while navigating logistical challenges and UFC CEO Dana White’s reluctance due to Jones’ past issues, and recently visited Chechnya hosted by Ramzan Kadyrov.

Jon Jones is eyeing a comeback at UFC White House. After a short retirement in June, he’s eager to fight at the anticipated event in June 2026. Though logistics are still up in the air, Jones wants to face light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

On Tuesday, “Bones” hit social media to update fans and answer questions about his potential White House appearance. He mentioned that talks with Pereira are “out of my hands,” but he’s “getting in shape” and ready for training camp. Interestingly, Jones is okay with not headlining the event if the Pereira fight happens.

Jones’ laid-back approach might be due to UFC CEO Dana White’s hesitation to include him, given Jones’ past controversies. These issues have often disrupted his career and the UFC’s plans.

Recently, Jones shared snaps from his visit to Chechnya, where he was hosted by Ramzan Kadyrov. Despite Kadyrov’s controversial reputation, Jones called him “a great host.”

While there, Jones had a playful spar with UFC champ Khamzat Chimaev and even tried out some high-powered weapons, like an RPG. Quite the adventure!

Jones also tweeted about other topics. He mentioned a possible grappling match with rival Daniel Cormier and expressed interest in Olympic wrestler Gable Steveson. Check out his Instagram for more on his activities and thoughts.
