Jordan Leavitt Defeats Kurt Holobaugh with Anaconda Choke at UFC Vegas 107

Jordan Leavitt showcased his submission prowess at UFC Vegas 107, defeating Kurt Holobaugh with an anaconda choke in under two minutes.

Jordan Leavitt’s submission skills were on full display at UFC Vegas 107. "The Monkey King" needed less than two minutes to defeat Kurt Holobaugh on Saturday’s preliminary card. An anaconda choke left Holobaugh snoozing on the mat. Wild stuff.

Check out the slick submission finish below. Seriously, it’s worth a watch.

Leavitt wasted no time taking the fight to the mat. He immediately changed levels to shoot for a takedown on the recent Ultimate Fighter winner. Holobaugh did his best to defend. But Leavitt’s technique? Impressive. He dragged Holobaugh down and hunted for submissions.

Once Leavitt moved into position for the anaconda choke, Holobaugh had a choice: tap or nap. He chose the latter. Referee Mike Beltran quickly jumped in for the stoppage, officially at 1:29 of Round 1.

Leavitt (12-3) bounces back from a loss to Chase Hooper. He’s now alternating wins and losses in his past five fights. For Holobaugh (21-10, 1 NC), he’s 1-3 since fighting his way back to the UFC with his TUF 31 tournament win. Tough break.
