Therefore, with the popularity of the sport, it found its way into online casino sections in two different ways. The first one is a sportsbook, where players head over to place their bets on the UFC fights.

The second way that UFC found its way into online casinos is through slot themes. Where a casino enthusiast can also regularly read a guide by TerraCasino for various games? There, fans of this theme can play various slots themed with UFC. That includes three-reel and five-reel slots. As game developers are being creative wanting to meet players’ expectations.

As you’re probably aware, slots are among the most popular games in online casinos. As such, development companies use different themes to attract players. That’s why you can find the best slots about wrestling, among other things. It’s a theme that’s common for millions of people. If you belong to this group, you’re in the perfect place. In this article, you’re going to find a list of currently scheduled UFC events, followed by a couple of tips to follow if you want to potentially make some money by betting on them.

Main UFC Events: Current Schedule to Follow

So far, the UFC events scheduled for 2023 go up to the month of July. However, that will change as we go into the second half of the year when more events will get their schedules and fights. Still, with 11 events ahead, UFC fans have a lot to look forward to. Let’s take a look at the events.

UFC 286: Edwards vs. Usman 3

The first UFC event is right around the corner on March 18th in London. It will go down in the O2 Arena. It’s a big fight as Leon Edwards, and Kamaru Usman are meeting for the third time. Their fight will lead the event, as all eyes will be on their third meetup. The interesting thing is that the current score is 1:1, so this fight will put one fighter in the lead over the other. Usman won the first fight, whereas Edwards was better in the second one and won by a knockout.

Aside from these fighters, there are several other fights, including:

The co-main event that’ll also get a lot of traction as these fighters both have great scores.

UFC on ESPN: Vera vs. Sandhagen

On March 25, Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen will cross paths and lead the UFC on ESPN event. The fight will happen in AT&T Center in San Antonio. Fighters are in the bantamweight division, promising a lot of action in the octagon. When we compare both of these scores, it seems that Sandhagen has better statistics in terms of wins/losses, plus he was never knocked out. So there’s a lot going for him in the match. Still, as history has taught us, that doesn’t have to mean anything. Besides the main event, there are a couple of others to expect:

UFC 287: Pereira vs. Adesnaya 2

One of the reasons why this event is so exciting is because it’s in Miami. This city is a rare host of UFC events. In fact, the last event there was held back in 2003. So the locals will definitely be excited to visit and watch the fighters clash their fists on April 8. The fight leading the event will be Alex Pereira and Israel Adesnaya. What’s interesting here is that these fighters have a long history. Even though they met in UFC only once, they also had kickboxing matches in other sports. Whenever they met, though, Pereira was the victorious one. Their previous UFC bout was important because Israel Adesnaya was defending his title that was taken away by Pereira.

So everyone is wondering whether Adesnaya has what it takes to get his title back. As this is a middleweight fight, we’ll see some hard punches being thrown around.

Some of the other fights in the event are going to be:

And that’s not all. There more fights in the fight card, promising an exciting event in Miami which many fans will surely attend.

UFC on ESPN: Holloway vs. Allen

Kansas residents are in for a treat on April 15. The T-Mobile Center is hosting a UFC event for the first time since 2017. Stars of the show are Max Holloway and Arnold Allen, fighters from the featherweight weight class. The fight looks to be promising both of the fighters come with plenty of experience. Holloway was among the youngest fighters to join UFC back in 2012. On the other hand, Allen joined UFC back in 2015. Despite joining later, Allen has amassed quite the record that’s currently standing at 19 wins and a single loss. Fans are eager to see whether Holloway can account for Allen’s second loss in his career.

The fight card is long, and some of the fights include:

UFC Fight Night: Pavlovich vs. Blaydes

Are you a fan of heavyweight fights? This one is to look out for, as Sergei Pavlovich and Curtis Blaydes are going to be the event’s main fight. These giants standing at well over 6 feet and weighing above 255 lbs, will have a face-off before a big audience. With the track record that Pavlovich has, one would say that he’s a safe bet. Even though his UFC debut vs. Alistair Overeem was a loss, he never lost another fight after that. Many of his fights finished in the first minute, so hopefully, Curtis Blaydes will manage to keep standing on his feet for longer than that.

The other pair that will fight are Song Yadong and Ricky Simon.

UFC Fight Night 2023

No venue has been determined for this event. It’s likely though that the main fight is going to be between Cody Brundage and Rodolfo Vieira. This is going to be an interesting fight because of these fighters’ styles. Both of them are grapplers and wrestlers, which will make this match more similar to a game of chess. Vieira has an insane record with 7 wins via submission, so it’s going to be a tough middleweight match scheduled for April 29. Other bouts set for that day are:

A small reminder that the fight card is longer, these are only some of the events on that day.

UFC 288: Sterlin vs Cejudo

Aljamain Sterlin and Henry Cejudo will participate in the main New Jersey UFC event. Scheduled for May 6, it’s going to attract the attention of many wrestling lovers. Both of these fighters are incredible wrestlers. Both fighters’ records show that they are the perfect match in the fight. The fight card for this even counts nine other fights, so the attendees will have a lot to look forward to.

UFC Fight Night 224

So far, we know that this event will be held on May 13, but the location is still to be decided. The clash of the night is going to be between Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker. Anthony Smith is coming from the United States, whereas Johnny Walker is coming from Dublin, Ireland. As a light heavyweight fight, it’s safe to assume that powerful punches will dominate in this match. Still, it’s important to mention that both of these fighters are skilled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

If you’re into heavyweight bouts, Jailton Almeida and Jairzinho Rozenstruik will fight during this fight night as well.

A flyweight bout that many are expecting for this event is between Kim Ji-yeon and Mandy Bohm.

UFC Fight Night 225

This event will happen on the 20th of May and will feature two middleweight fights and a heavyweight bout, at least for now. The main event will likely be between Edmen Shahbazyan and Anthony Hernandez.

The second middleweight bout will be between Abdul Razak Alhasssan and Brunno Ferreira.

If you’re interested in heavyweight fighters, this event will feature Ilir Latifi against Rodrigo Nascimento.

The fight card will likely include more fighters, but we’ll have to remain patient and see what’s coming. The only additionally confirmed Women’s Strawweight bout is between Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Vanessa Demopoulos.

UFC Fight Night 226

Like the abovementioned UFC events, there’s no venue set for now. We only know that it’s happening on June 3rd, 2023. The only fight scheduled so far is the Miesha Tate and Mayra Bueno Silva, fighting in a Women’s Bantamweight bout. But more details are to surface as the event date continues approaching.

UFC 290: Jones vs. Miocic

Scheduled for July 8, 2023, UFC 290 is a promising event to happen in T-Mobile Arena in Nevada. Jon Jones will fight Stipe Miocic, and that’s the only fight scheduled so far. You can learn more as the date comes closers to the fight.

It’s important to mention that these are the events scheduled at the time of writing this article. More dates will become available for the second half of the year.

How You Can Make Money From These Fights?

If you’re a big UFC enthusiast and you watch all the events, then it’s clear that you’ll likely place a bet at some point in the future. If you’re thinking of this, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. These betting tips will help you stay on top of your game and potentially lead you to win your bets more often.

  • Fighter’s track record – Taking a brief look at the fighter’s fighting record will provide great insight in his capabilities. Especially for his losses. If he usually losses by submission, a grappler might have a higher chance of defeating him.
  • Social media status – Following fighters on social media is a great way to monitor their preparation process for the fight. The majority of fighters like sharing their progress and what they’re doing. Analyze the posts they’re sharing and evaluate whether it can impact their performance.
  • News surrounding fighters – Aside from social media, you’ll find fighters in plenty of news publications. See what they’re going through. Fighting requires a lot of focus, and if a fighter is going through something in their life, they might not be as focused as they usually are. That will surely impact their performance.
  • Previous injuries – Any previous injury will slow down a fighter. See how their recovery went and whether they’re ready for the next match. Plus, check whether the injury will give the opponent some sort of an advantage, particularly according to their fighting style.

No matter if you’re an experienced bettor or someone who’s just starting out, it’s important to take all these factors into consideration before placing a bet.

Conclusion

As you can tell, UFC’s rising popularity has attracted millions of viewers, and it has sparked the creation of many events. Additionally, an increasing number of fighters are looking to join the league. All in all, the year 2023 is going to be a big one, with so many events scheduled to occur in the near future.
