Mateusz Gamrot Criticizes Benoit Saint Denis for Declining UFC 315 Fight

Mateusz Gamrot, ranked No. 7 in the UFC lightweight division, is frustrated with his difficulty in securing fights against top opponents, criticizing fighters like Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint Denis for allegedly turning down bouts, although he is set to face Ludovit Klein in an upcoming event.

Mateusz Gamrot isn’t thrilled with the lightweight Top 15. Despite being No. 7 in the UFC lightweight rankings, he’s struggled to secure fights with big names. Frustrating, right?

Recently, Arman Tsarukyan, the No. 1 contender, turned down a main event in Abu Dhabi. This stung Gamrot, especially since he has a win over Tsarukyan. But wait, there’s more.

Gamrot also called out No. 13-ranked Benoit Saint Denis. Apparently, Saint Denis declined a short-notice fight at UFC 315. He was supposed to face Joel Alvarez, who withdrew due to a hand injury. Gamrot was ready to step in, but no luck.

On Twitter, Gamrot expressed his frustration. “BSD turned down the fight next week, what’s wrong with you guys? Grow some balls, cowards!” Ouch. That tweet says it all.

But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom for Gamrot. He’s set to fight Ludovit Klein in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 107. Klein, unbeaten at 155 pounds, boasts 6 wins and 1 draw. Exciting stuff ahead for “Gamer.”
