Max Holloway‘s wife, Alessa Quizon, surprised everyone by outscoring him and Chan Sung Jung on a punching machine during their South Korea trip, where Holloway and Jung explored local sights and shared their adventures online.
Max Holloway’s family isn’t short on punching power. During a recent visit to South Korea, Holloway teamed up with friend and former opponent Chan Sung Jung, also known as “The Korean Zombie,” to explore Jung’s homeland. Their adventures, shared on social media, included a trip to an arcade, which Holloway featured in a vlog.
Naturally, they tested their strength on a punching game. But the results? Not what you’d expect from UFC stars. Watch the competition below.
In their arcade showdown, Holloway outperformed Zombie, reminiscent of their UFC Kallang fight in August 2023. That bout marked Zombie’s swan song, ending with Holloway delivering a third-round knockout.
Their arcade duel wasn’t as intense. Holloway scored higher on his first try and easily surpassed Zombie, who surprisingly struggled on his second attempt. Holloway joked that Zombie broke the machine.
The real twist? Holloway’s wife, pro surfer Alessa Quizon, stepped up and, figuratively speaking, knocked it out of the park. She scored higher than her featherweight champion husband, delighting everyone present.
Throughout his career, Holloway has KO’d stars like Zombie, Justin Gaethje, and Jose Aldo. But Quizon’s arcade triumph? She’ll hold those bragging rights forever.
Holloway’s vlog also showcased plenty of food. He humorously worried that Zombie’s hospitality might hinder his preparation for the UFC 318 lightweight main event on July 19, where he’ll face Dustin Poirier.
“Korean Zombie trying to kill me,” Holloway quipped after eating spicy food. He joked about their fun trip, saying, “We’re getting to welterweight. So Dana [White], blame Korean Zombie if I don’t make ‘55 anytime soon.”
