UFC BJJ 5, featuring a bantamweight title bout between Mikey Musumeci and Shay Montague, along with several other matches, is set for February 12, 2026, and will be broadcast live on YouTube.
Like its big sister, the UFC, UFC BJJ is back in action. Exciting, right?
On Friday, UFC BJJ announced its first card for 2026. UFC BJJ 5 is headlined by a bantamweight title bout between champion Mikey Musumeci and Shay Montague. Mark your calendars for Feb. 12!
Musumeci is the face of UFC BJJ, having headlined the promotion’s first and third events. A four-time IBJJF world champion in the gi, he’s also a one-time no-gi world champion and a former ONE flyweight submission grappling champion. Impressive resume, huh?
Montague isn’t a slouch either. The 2025 IBJJF no-gi world champion, with numerous accolades below the black belt level, is set to challenge Musumeci.
In the co-main event, middleweight champion Ronaldo Junior defends his title against Tarik Hopstock. Junior, the 2023 IBJJF world no-gi champion, won the title by defeating William Tackett at UFC BJJ 4 in December. Can he hold onto it?
Hopstock, a 2025 IBJJF world no-gi champion, will be making his promotional debut. Quite the showdown!
Also on the card, Andy Murasaki takes on Andy Varela. Taylor Hishaw faces Rebecca Lima. Landon Elmore battles Rerisson Gabriel. Jalen Fonacier takes on Bebeto Oliveira. And Mona Bailey faces Carol Brunacio.
UFC BJJ 5 is broadcast live on YouTube. Don’t miss it!
