Natalia Silva: Valentina Shevchenko Will Know Me After UFC 315

Natalia Silva, after defeating Alexa Grasso and extending her winning streak to 13, aims for a title shot against Valentina Shevchenko, urging fans to support her bid on social media.

Natalia Silva pulled off a stunning victory over former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso, just hours before Valentina Shevchenko defended her 125-pound belt against Manon Fiorot at UFC 315. Now, Silva’s eyes are set on a title shot.

With her 13th consecutive win and seventh inside the octagon, Silva believes she’s earned a chance at the championship. Her focus? Unwavering. “My focus is on the title,” she declared post-fight.

Before Shevchenko’s victory over Fiorot in Montreal, Silva was already plotting her path. “I came here to become champion,” she said, eager for a showdown. Valentina once dismissed her, but Silva thinks it’s time to change that.

At 28, Silva’s on a roll, having defeated two ex-UFC champions—Jessica Andrade and Grasso—in just eight months. She believes fan support on social media could be the key to her title shot.

“Fans can ask for that fight,” Silva urged. “Every name the UFC gives me, I’m ready. I want to leave a legacy, not just be another champion.”

Shevchenko, after UFC 315, was asked about facing Silva or the reigning strawweight queen, Zhang Weili. Her response? Let the fans decide.

“Everyone’s saying Weili or Natalia?” Shevchenko mused. “Maybe fans can help decide, drop messages on my OnlyFans page, and we’ll see who’s next.”
