Nate Diaz Shares Jon Jones Reality Show Footage Ending in Brawl

Nate Diaz‘s attempt to film a reality show in Thailand with Jon Jones ended abruptly due to a brawl on the first day, leading to his departure and continued travels in Thailand and Hong Kong.

Nate Diaz just can’t seem to avoid drama, can he? His latest adventure took him all the way to Thailand. Why? To film a reality show, reminiscent of The Ultimate Fighter, with none other than UFC heavyweight champ Jon Jones. Sounds exciting, right? Well, things went south fast.

Day 1, and boom! Diaz got into a scuffle with one of the competitors. A full-blown brawl erupted, and just like that, filming was over. Talk about a plot twist!

On Thursday, Diaz dropped a vlog on his YouTube channel. It gave fans a peek behind the scenes of his Thailand trip. You see him meeting Jones and, of course, the chaos that ensued.

In a pre-show chat, Diaz seemed a bit unsure. "I don’t know," he said next to Jones. "I just came in, they were already going at it. I was on The Ultimate Fighter, so I imagine it’s going to be pretty crazy.” Understatement of the year?

Luckily, no major injuries from the brawl. But that was it for Diaz and his crew. They left the show, continuing their travels in Thailand and later Hong Kong. Adventure never stops!

Diaz later shared his thoughts on the incident. He seemed disappointed, blaming others for stirring the pot. “Came out to do a little reality show with Jon Jones,” he said. “Didn’t work out because they the opps. We ain’t f*cking with any of them Russians.”

Oh, and did you know? Diaz turned 40 this past April. He’s on a break, figuring out his next move. His last UFC fight was a submission win over Tony Ferguson in September 2022. Then he dipped into pro boxing.

His boxing debut? A loss to Jake Paul. But he bounced back, winning a decision against Jorge Masvidal in July. Never a dull moment with Nate Diaz!
