Neil Magny, the UFC welterweight division’s winningest fighter, will face Elizeu Zaleski at UFC Vegas 108 on August 2, aiming to break a two-fight losing streak.
Neil Magny, the most successful fighter in the UFC welterweight division, is set to return on August 2. He’ll face Elizeu Zaleski at UFC Vegas 108 inside the UFC APEX.
Sources familiar with the situation confirmed this news to MMA Fighting. UFC Vegas 108 will be headlined by flyweights Amir Albazi and Tatsuro Taira, airing live on ESPN+.
Magny, with a record of 29-13, comes back after his planned UFC 318 bout with Gunnar Nelson was canceled. Turning 38 the day after the event, he’s eager to break a two-fight losing streak against Michael Morales and Carlos Prates.
Known as the “Haitian Sensation,” Magny boasts 22 wins out of 34 octagon appearances since 2012. He’s also defeated former UFC champions like Robbie Lawler, Carlos Condit, and Johny Hendricks.
On the other hand, Zaleski (25-9-1) aims to rebound after a second-round TKO loss to Chidi Njokuani in March 2025. This came four months after his victory over Zach Scroggin, who stepped in on short notice.
“Capoeira” was on a winning streak with victories over Benoit Saint-Denis and Abubakar Nurmagomedov. However, a majority draw against Rinat Fakhretdinov led to his recent 1-2 run in the octagon.
