Nina Agdal Hearing No-Show Dillon Danis Receives Restraining Order

Dillon Danis did not attend a hearing regarding a restraining order filed against him by Nina Agdal, leading a judge to enforce the order, which forbids Danis and et al. from posting sexually explicit photos of Agdal without her consent.

Dillon Danis failed to appear in a Tuesday hearing regarding a restraining order filed against him by Logan Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal. Owing to his no-show, the judge enforced the conditions of the restraining order. Since no opposition was voiced by Dillon in court, he is now bound by the court order not to share “sexually explicit photographs” of Agdal without permission. The prohibitory orders also extend to anyone actively aiding or cooperating with him as decreed by Madeline Cox Arleo, a federal judge from New Jersey, on Wednesday.

Judge Arleo went on to affirm that the court order invoked by Agdal against Danis “is likely to succeed on the merits.” This is attributed to Danis unauthorized exposure of nonconsensual, sexually explicit photograph of Agdal. Agdal would endure irreparable harm if further instances of such posts were made by him. Thus, Judge Arleo ascertained, it is the interest of the public to restrain him from making future indiscretions.

Earlier this month in New Jersey, Agdal lodged a federal lawsuit against Danis. She accused him of breaching both state and federal laws relating to revenge porn. In the lawsuit, she claimed that Danis shared an explicit photograph that was discreetly acquired from a “romantic encounter” she had with him more than a decade ago. A cybersecurity firm traced this photo back to a hack of her Snapchat account in 2022, as per her statement. She claimed to have undergone “humiliation, emotional distress and reputational harm” due to more than 250 posts about her shared by Danis. To prevent future emotional injury, she had sought this restraining order.

Danis has publicly continued to post about Agdal, undeterred by the looming court order. He is known to be an upcoming opponent of Paul in a boxing match scheduled to take place in London on October 15. These activities have led fans to speculate that their boxing match might be in jeopardy. Danis also made an attempt to dodge receiving the lawsuit’s papers, which he documented explicitly on Instagram. The need for a restraining order was further solidified by remarks Danis made on his social media, Judge Arleo noted. Regardless of appearing to mock his opponent at times, Paul also spoke critically of Danis’ posts about Agdal in promotional interviews for their fight. On other occasions, he stated that Danis’ posts helped in increasing publicity and complimented him as a “top tier troll.” It has been recently implied by Paul that Danis could be attempting to abandon the fight by intentionally injuring himself. Danis shared a video “head conditioning” by smashing his head into a log while in a sauna, further mounting speculation about his intent. Soon after the court order, Danis posted yet another post about Agdal, garnering 3.3 million views.
