Paddy Pimblett Demands Jared Gordon Rematch while in Hospital: Expletive-Filled Challenge

UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett calls out Jared Gordon from a hospital bed after ankle surgery, expressing his desire for a rematch later in the year.

Paddy Pimblett has had enough of hearing about Jared Gordon. From a hospital bed following ankle surgery, the UFC lightweight released a video calling out his rival. He claimed that he suffered the injury in the opening round of their UFC 282 bout, which he won via controversial unanimous decision. Pimblett shared that doctors were surprised he continued fighting, but he could not bear the thought of giving in.

The 28-year-old fighter is unbeaten in four UFC fights, with his match against Gordon being the first to go to the judges. Despite the controversy, Pimblett remained defiant, referring to Gordon as a “bitter little girl” who was only able to perform well because of his injury. When asked by his cameraman if he wanted a rematch with Gordon, Pimblett expressed his desire to “punch his head in” later in the year and hoped that Gordon would defeat Bobby Green, so that he could have another shot at him.

While Pimblett awaits his ankle to heal within six to 10 weeks, Gordon is scheduled to face Bobby Green on April 22 at UFC Vegas 72. A fan poll asking who they would favor in a potential rematch between Pimblett and Gordon showed a divided opinion, with 42% supporting Paddy Pimblett and 57% siding with Jared Gordon, based on 2547 total votes.
