Patchy Mix: PFL Fight Pitch & Lucrative New Contract

Patchy Mix became the final bantamweight champion of Bellator before it was acquired by PFL, and now he hopes to fight against Juan Archuleta for a rematch in the PFL organization.

Patchy Mix recently claimed the undisputed Bellator bantamweight title, becoming the final 135-pound champion before the promotion was acquired by PFL. The fighters, as well as the rest of the world, found out about the purchase and that Bellator will continue to exist under the PFL umbrella. There is also a plan for a PFL vs. Bellator card with champions from both organizations squaring off on pay-per-view.

Mix finds himself in limbo as PFL doesn’t have a bantamweight division, making him unable to participate in the champion versus champion fights. However, he has already identified his ideal next opponent, Juan Archuleta, whom he lost to in his first title attempt in 2020.

Mix hopes to secure a rematch with Archuleta, who currently holds the popular RIZIN bantamweight title. He is confident in his ability to put Archuleta away and is eager to finish him in a fight and avenge his previous loss. Mix looks forward to competing in PFL, as he has just signed a new long-term deal with Bellator MMA, ensuring he will be tied to both promotions for the foreseeable future.

Despite the acquisition by PFL, Mix has nothing but gratitude for Bellator, acknowledging the promotion for giving him the chance to join the big leagues and prove himself as one of the best fighters in the world. He spoke highly of the opportunities and support given to him by Bellator, emphasizing the transformative impact it has had on his career.
