PFL CEO Confident in Francis Ngannou’s 2026 Return

Francis Ngannou has one fight left on his PFL contract, expected in early 2026, with the promotion planning something special for him despite his interest in boxing and potential matchups like Vadim Nemkov.

Francis Ngannou has one fight left on his PFL contract. The promotion expects him back in action by early 2026. Exciting, right?

PFL CEO John Martin has been in talks with Ngannou. After Ngannou’s 2024 demolition of Renan Ferreira, there’s buzz about his return. Ngannou’s shown interest in boxing, but Martin insists PFL has big plans for “The Predator.”

“I’ve spoken to Francis a number of times,” Martin shared with MMA Fighting. They’re cooking up something special for him. If Vadim Nemkov wins this week, it might set the stage for an epic clash.

Ngannou’s been a fantastic ambassador for PFL Africa. While exploring boxing, he’s remained in touch with Martin and his team. They’re eager to see him back in the cage.

Ngannou hinted his contract might expire before the UFC’s White House visit in June. He’s eyeing a fight with Jon Jones. Intriguing!

Meanwhile, Vadim Nemkov and Renan Ferreira are set to battle in Lyon, France. The winner could be Ngannou’s next opponent.

Whether that happens or not, Martin assures Ngannou’s future with PFL. “Yeah, he will fight in PFL again,” Martin confirmed. Ngannou’s in great shape—stay tuned!
