Watch the incredible finish below.
Khoshimzhonov immediately shot out of the gates with a takedown attempt. Only to be foiled by Abduali’s impressive balance. Hopping on one leg, Abduali wasn’t content to let Khoshimzhonov hold him against the fence. The 20-year-old Kazakh threw caution to the wind and his legs up around Khoshimzhonov’s head and neck, instantly putting him in danger.
At first, Khoshimzhonov tried to punch his way out. But when he realized that wasn’t happening, he went to fight Abduali’s hands. It was way too little, way too late. Seconds later—snoozing.
Abduali improved to 6-0 as a pro. All of his victories? Knockout or submission.
