Sean Strickland Punches Fighter for Taunting at Tuff-N-Uff 145

Ex-UFC champion Sean Strickland stormed the cage and punched fighter Luis Hernandez after Hernandez taunted Strickland’s teammate, leading to a melee at Tuff-N-Uff 145 in Las Vegas, potentially resulting in disciplinary action from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Ex-UFC champion Sean Strickland found himself in an unexpected brawl on Sunday. Not your usual sanctioned fight, but a heated clash after he stormed the cage and punched a fighter who taunted him post-match.

This chaotic scene erupted at Tuff-N-Uff 145 in Las Vegas. Undefeated prospect Luis Hernandez had just claimed victory with a standing guillotine choke over Miles Hunsinger in the second round. As the fight wrapped up, Hernandez turned towards Hunsinger’s corner, where Strickland and UFC fighter Chris Curtis stood.

In a bold move, Hernandez executed the classic “crotch chop” at the corner. Instantly, Strickland and Curtis charged. Strickland landed a punch on Hernandez, followed by another before stepping back.

Check out the footage of the fight and its aftermath below.

Curtis grabbed Hernandez, holding him briefly until the fighter shook him off. Chaos ensued as officials, fighters, and security rushed in to defuse the situation.

Social media footage shows Strickland being pulled away while Hernandez continued his taunts. Referee Chris Tognoni and other officials struggled to regain control.

Given the fight’s location in Las Vegas, the Nevada State Athletic Commission is in charge. Strickland might face consequences, especially if he was a licensed cornerman.
