Sean Strickland Says UFC Denied His UFC 323 Attendance Request

Sean Strickland won’t attend UFC 323 due to a suspension from the Nevada Athletic Commission following an altercation, despite his attempts to obtain a ticket.

Sean Strickland won’t be making an appearance at UFC 323 on Saturday. Despite trying hard to snag a ticket, he hit a wall.

Before the year’s final UFC pay-per-view, Strickland took to Threads. He shared that he asked for tickets but got turned down.

Why the denial? The UFC cited his suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission. This stemmed from an altercation at a Tuff-N-Uff event earlier in Vegas.

Strickland humorously wrote, "Wanted to watch the homies fight, but the UFC bosses told me to f**k myself. I’m suspended, can’t come… lol."

Typically, suspended fighters can’t coach or corner without permission. But attending? That’s usually fair game.

However, Strickland remains benched until Dec. 29. His suspension followed a cage-storming incident where he attacked a fighter.

Yet, it seems this denial is just another chapter in his colorful chats with UFC bosses. "These are the conversations I have," he posted.

"Sean, they might put you in jail," one boss quipped. "I wouldn’t recommend it," another advised.

"Delete that, but you don’t have to," they suggested. "Just shut the f*ck up for like two weeks," was another gem.

"Never just a homie call wanting to go snowboarding," he mused. "They probably ski like a bunch of… lol."

Strickland’s no stranger to controversy. He once leaped over seats to brawl with Dricus du Plessis at a past event.

This time, though, there’s no chance of a repeat at UFC 323. Strickland’s staying home.
