UFC 303 Poster Reveals Pereira vs Prochazka

UFC 303 has undergone significant changes, with the main event now featuring a rematch between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka for the light heavyweight championship, replacing the originally planned bout between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, and Brian Ortega facing Diego Lopes in the co-main event.

UFC 303 looks a lot different than it did less than a week ago. The new poster for the event highlights these changes.

UFC CEO Dana White dropped a bombshell on Thursday night. The original main event between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler? Not happening on June 29.

Instead, fans will witness a rematch between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka. This bout will headline the event for the light heavyweight championship.

Check out the updated poster featuring Pereira and Prochazka below. It’s a visual treat!

Pereira and Prochazka first clashed in the main event of UFC 295. That was back in November at Madison Square Garden, New York.

The fight was for the vacant 205-pound title. Pereira, the former middleweight champion, secured his second divisional belt by knocking out Prochazka in the first round.

Both fighters returned to action at April’s UFC 300 event. Prochazka stopped Aleksandar Rakic in the second round during the preliminary card.

Meanwhile, Pereira knocked out Jamahal Hill in the first round of the main event. He retained his championship with that victory.

In the new co-main event of UFC 303, Brian Ortega faces Diego Lopes. Ortega is a one-time title challenger, while Lopes is a surging featherweight contender.

Exciting times ahead for MMA fans!
