On June 7, the UFC returns to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. This event features two thrilling title fights on its pay-per-view card.
In the main event, bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili defends his title. He faces Sean O’Malley in a rematch. “Suga” hasn’t fought since losing the belt to Dvalishvili. But he’s back for another shot. Dvalishvili, meanwhile, successfully defended his title in January against Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 311.
The co-main event is equally exciting. Women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Peña defends her title. Her opponent? Former two-time PFL champion Kayla Harrison. Peña claimed her title with a split decision over Raquel Pennington at UFC 307. Harrison, undefeated in the UFC, recently beat Ketlen Vieira. The winner might face the legendary Amanda Nunes, who could return after a two-year break.
The card also features middleweight Kelvin Gastelum versus rising star Joe Pyfer. Plus, former bantamweight title challenger Marlon Vera battles Mario Bautista. And don’t miss the welterweight clash between Vicente Luque and Kevin Holland, kicking off the main card.
