UFC 320: Knockout Artist Returns on Ankalaev vs. Pereira 2 Card

Ateba Gautier aims for his third knockout of the year against Ozzy Diaz at UFC 320 in Las Vegas, where the event is headlined by a light heavyweight championship rematch.

Ateba Gautier is on the hunt for his third knockout of the year. Exciting, right? Multiple insiders have confirmed to MMA Fighting that Gautier will face Ozzy Diaz at UFC 320. This showdown is set for Oct. 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Léo Guimaraes first spilled the beans on Twitter.

Gautier kicked off the year with a bang—a first-round knockout in his octagon debut at UFC Mexico in March against Jose Medina. Known as “The Silent Assassin,” he recently made waves at UFC 318 by demolishing Robert Valentin in just 70 seconds. That win bumped his octagon record to 2-0. Impressive? You bet. He’s finished his last seven opponents.

Meanwhile, Diaz is gearing up for his third octagon appearance. He’s coming off his first UFC win, a unanimous decision over Djorden Santos at UFC 313 in March. Diaz had a rough start, though, getting stopped by Mingyang Zhang in the first round at UFC Macau last November.

UFC 320 promises more fireworks. The main event features a light heavyweight championship rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira. Plus, Merab Dvalishvili defends the bantamweight title against Cory Sandhagen in the co-main event. Can’t wait for this one!
