UFC Event: Punahele Soriano Against Dustin Stoltzfus

A middleweight clash between Punahele Soriano and Dustin Stoltzfus is planned for a UFC Fight Night event, with Soriano aiming to recover from a prior loss and Stoltzfus hoping to gain his second Octagon victory.

Middleweight fighters Punahele Soriano and Dustin Stoltzfus are poised to face each other in combat this December, as per reliable sources familiar with the promotional plans. The exact location and venue for the UFC’s Fight Night event, scheduled for Dec. 2, are yet to be disclosed. The anticipation around this 185-pound match-up is high, marking an essential milestone in both fighters’ careers.

Soriano, having recently suffered a stoppage loss, is eagerly eyeing a chance for redemption. His last defeat came at the hands of Roman Kopylov during UFC Vegas 67 in January. Despite enduring a challenging streak with merely one victory versus three defeats in his last four octagonal appearances, Soriano isn’t deterred. His second-round knockout victory over Dalcha Lungiambula at UFC Long Island in July 2022, resonates as a stark reminder of his capabilities.

On the flip side, Stoltzfus is preparing for his sixth UFC walk, aiming for his second octagonal triumph. After a rough start with three consecutive UFC defeats, the Contender Series alum clinched his first promotional victory against Dwight Grant through a unanimous decision at UFC Long Island. However, Stoltzfus’ latest encounter ended abruptly, with Abus Magomedov stopping him within 19 seconds at UFC Paris in September 2022. This upcoming match in December offers him an opportunity to reclaim his stature.
