TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel’s 2024 earnings dropped to $18.1 million from $64.9 million in 2023, mainly due to fewer stock awards and bonuses, while TKO president Mark Shapiro’s pay nearly doubled to $32 million, largely from stock awards.
TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel’s salary took a hit in 2024, yet he still raked in $18.1 million. Quite a sum, right?
On Friday, TKO, which owns UFC and WWE, revealed an SEC proxy filing. This document spilled the beans on salaries for top execs like Emanuel and Mark Shapiro, TKO’s president and COO.
Emanuel’s pay package was a mix: a $3 million base salary plus bonuses, totaling $18.1 million in 2024. A stark drop from 2023’s $64.9 million, mainly due to stock awards and a $20 million UFC bonus.
In 2024, his earnings included a $3 million base, an $8.2 million performance bonus, a $4.29 million discretionary bonus, and a $2.5 million equity award. Still a hefty paycheck, huh?
Even with a lower 2024 package, Emanuel’s other deals brought in big bucks. He scored $173.8 million when Endeavor went private and $308 million in 2021 when they went public, mostly in stock.
Meanwhile, Shapiro’s pay nearly doubled from 2023 to 2024. He earned $32 million, up from $16.1 million, thanks to $19 million in stock awards. His salary was $4 million, with $8.2 million in bonuses.
Oh, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? He joined TKO’s board and snagged over $29 million in stock awards in 2024. Not too shabby!
