UFC Welcomes Undefeated Heavyweight to April 4 Las Vegas Card

Guilherme Pat will face Thomas Petersen at UFC Vegas 117 on April 4, with Pat looking to build on his undefeated record and Petersen aiming to recover from a recent knockout loss.

Guilherme Pat is set to return to the octagon, facing off against Thomas Petersen at UFC Vegas 117. This clash will take place at the Meta APEX on April 4. Exciting times ahead!

The UFC hasn’t yet spilled the beans on which fight will headline the event. Suspense, anyone?

Pat, holding a 6-0 record, made waves with his UFC debut in December. He snagged a decision win over Allen Frye. Visa issues had kept him out of Dana White’s Contender Series for a while. Finally, he’s here.

Known as “Kong,” Pat has a knack for knockouts. Four out of his six wins ended with his opponents seeing stars.

On the other side, Petersen (10-4) is looking to bounce back. He suffered a knockout loss to Vitor Petrino at UFC Rio in October 2025. Ouch.

Before stepping into the DWCS octagon, Petersen was a force, losing only one of eight fights. As a former LFA heavyweight champ, “The Train” had quite a run. But in the UFC, he’s gone 2-3. It’s been a bumpy ride.

Stay tuned for more updates!
