Starting in 2026, “The Ultimate Fighter” and “Dana White’s Contender Series” will move to Paramount+ as part of a $7.7 billion, seven-year deal, making all UFC programming available at no additional cost to subscribers.
In 2026, The Ultimate Fighter and Dana White’s Contender Series will have a new home. After the UFC’s deal with ESPN wraps up in December, these shows will move to Paramount+.
Joining the rest of the UFC lineup, Paramount+ will host all UFC Fight Night cards and major events, starting with UFC 324 on Jan. 24. Unlike ESPN, where pay-per-view was extra, Paramount+ includes all programming at no additional cost.
This big announcement came during CCXP in Brazil on Saturday. Exciting times ahead!
The Ultimate Fighter, one of the longest-running reality shows, has been pivotal since its 2005 launch. It’s not just a show; it’s a launchpad for champions and contenders, and its move to Paramount signals a new chapter.
Similarly, DWCS is a favorite of UFC CEO Dana White. This series showcases fighters across divisions, offering them a shot to impress White and UFC execs like Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard.
At the end of each season, White reveals which fighters earn UFC contracts. Notable names like Sean O’Malley and Jamahal Hill began their journeys here.
While both series are confirmed for Paramount, their 2026 debut dates remain under wraps. This transition is part of a historic seven-year, $7.7 billion deal, moving the UFC from ESPN to Paramount. Exciting times, indeed!
