Jeremiah Wells is out of his UFC Vegas 107 fight against Andreas Gustafsson for undisclosed reasons, prompting the search for a new opponent for Gustafsson, who is making his UFC debut.
UFC Vegas 107 has hit a snag. Jeremiah Wells is out of his fight with Andreas Gustafsson on May 31 at the UFC APEX. The reasons? Still under wraps. Octagon Update spilled the beans first.
Now, the promotion’s on the hunt for a new opponent for Gustafsson. Wells, set for a comeback after 15 months, was on a rough patch. He lost his last two fights—first to Carlston Harris via submission, then a split decision to Max Griffin at UFC Vegas 86 in February 2024.
Gustafsson, on the other hand, is gearing up for his UFC debut. He snagged a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series with a knockout win over Pat Pytlik. Riding a three-fight win streak, the 34-year-old is ready to make waves.
