Yaroslav Amosov Versus Jason Jackson & Sergio Pettis Versus Patchy Mix Title Doubleheader at Bellator 301

Bellator 301’s main card features four significant matches, with main events including undefeated welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov versus Jason Jackson, and bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis against interim champion Patchy Mix, plus a lightweight grand prix semifinal featuring Patricky Pitbull and Alexander Shabliy, and a bantamweight rematch of Raufeon Stots against Danny Sabatello.

Bellator 301’s main event is set to feature a string of important fights, led by a double championship bout. The main fight is between undefeated welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov, at 27-0, and Jason Jackson, at 16-4. Amosov’s title is at stake in this bout. The co-main event will witness a title unification match between bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis (23-5) and grand prix winner, as well as interim champion, Patchy Mix (18-1).

Patricky Pitbull (25-11) and Alexander Shabliy (23-3) will face off for a lightweight grand prix semifinal on the main card. Not to be forgotten is the bantamweight rematch between adversaries Raufeon Stots (19-2) and Danny Sabatello (14-3). The announcement of the four matches was made on a Wednesday episode of The MMA Hour.

The event, Bellator 301, is scheduled for Nov. 17 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Viewers at home will be able to watch the main card live on Showtime. Amosov, 29 is counted amongst some of the top talents in Bellator. The Ukrainian champion, who is the No. 6 welterweight in the world, has an unbroken 8-0 winning streak since his induction to the promotion in 2018. His victories count notable players like Logan Storley (x2), Douglas Lima, Ed Ruth amongst others.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Jackson is entering the fight on a six-match winning streak, setting him up for his first Bellator title encounter. His triumphant streak is backed by victories over Lima, Benson Henderson, Neiman Gracie, and Paul Daley. Pettis, 30, has been victorious in all his five Bellator shows since leaving the UFC in 2019 after a win. Pettis secured his belt with a win against Juan Archuleta, following which he defended it on two occasions against Kyoji Horiguchi and Patricio Pitbull. Mix, the New York native, also boasts of a five-win streak in Bellator and currently holds the interim title.
