UFC welterweight Mike Perry finds himself in the headlines for the wrong reasons. A video was released yesterday from a Twitter account called MMA Eejit that shows Perry in an altercation at a restaurant called Table 82 in Lubbock, Texas on Tuesday at 10:30 pm.

TMZ reports that it started when Perry was asked to leave the restaurant by a staff member. Instead of leaving, TMZ reports that Perry punched the employee in the eye and that the employee suffered injuries. This led to the start of the video that MMA EEjit posted on Twitter. While unknown at the time, Perry reacted to what had happened on Twitter that night.

In the video, Perry was urged to leave the restaurant by his female peer after punching the employee allegedly off camera. Perry stopped and told her she can leave, he was going to stay since the police were going to be called. Perry and the female got into a back and forth conversation, with Perry saying that the person that he got into an altercation with touched him. The female then retorted that “He was trying to calm you down bro, you were hitting my damn cousin.” Perry stayed adamant that the person in question touched him and then an older man interjected himself into the conversation.
