Arman Tsarukyan Foresees First-Round Knockout Against Charles Oliveira at UFC 300

Arman Tsarukyan plans to defeat Charles Oliveira quickly in their upcoming UFC 300 fight, aiming to prove he should be the next to challenge for the title.

Arman Tsarukyan’s got a plan. He’s eyeing a swift victory at UFC 300.

He’s up against Charles Oliveira this Saturday. The fight’s on the pay-per-view main card, right in Las Vegas.

Tsarukyan respects Oliveira, a former UFC champ. But he’s not here to play nice. He’s aiming for a quick knockout, to prove he’s ready for the title.

“It’s gonna be wild,” Tsarukyan said on The MMA Hour. Oliveira’s got skills. Wrestling, jiu-jitsu, striking – he’s got it all.

Tsarukyan’s not sure what Oliveira’s game plan is. But it doesn’t matter. He’s ready to adapt, whether it’s wrestling or striking.

He’s stoked for the fight. And he’s not the only one. MMA fans are buzzing. Both fighters are top-notch. But Tsarukyan’s prediction? A first-round TKO.

Tsarukyan’s got the stats to back up his talk. At 27, he’s 8-2 in the UFC. Four of his last five wins were knockouts. Last December, he took down Beneil Dariush in just over a minute.

Oliveira’s no slouch either. He also finished Dariush in the first round. He’s got a record 20 UFC finishes. He even had an 11-fight win streak, stopped only by current champ Islam Makhachev.

Both Tsarukyan and Oliveira want a rematch with Makhachev. Tsarukyan lost to him in his UFC debut. So, he wasn’t shocked when he was told he’d have to beat Oliveira first.

“It’s a dream fight,” Tsarukyan said. Oliveira was a champ. For Tsarukyan, this fight feels like a title match.

He was thrilled when he heard the news. Couldn’t sleep for days.

Tsarukyan thought he might face Gaethje or Oliveira. He’s a fresh face in the top five. If he wins, he’s the top contender.

He thinks fans want a rematch with Makhachev. Their first fight was close. But Tsarukyan’s confident he’ll win this time.

If Tsarukyan gets another shot at Makhachev, he plans to be the second fighter to beat him. Makhachev’s got a 25-1 MMA record. But Tsarukyan thinks he can do better than Oliveira, who lost to Makhachev in the second round.

Nothing’s certain in MMA. But Tsarukyan trusts Dana White, UFC’s CEO, to make the right call if he beats Oliveira.

“Arman Tsarukyan vs. Islam Makhachev, definitely,” Tsarukyan said. “When I beat Charles Oliveira, I’m the No. 1 contender. This fight, Dana White said, this is a contender fight. The winner fights Islam. Me or Oliveira. Definitely.”
