Utah’s Clay Collard will fight Mads Burnell in the main event of PFL’s first card in Salt Lake City on June 21, with 2023 PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay facing Jakob Nedoh in the co-main event.

Heads up, MMA fans! Clay Collard, a Utah native, is set to take on Mads Burnell. This clash is the main event at PFL’s inaugural Salt Lake City card on June 21, as announced by the company on Monday. And guess what? The co-main event of PFL 5 will see 2023 PFL light heavyweight champ, Impa Kasanganay, squaring off against Jakob Nedoh.

Remember when Collard took down ex-Bellator champ Patricky Pitbull? Yeah, that was earlier this month. He scored a cool five points for the 2024 season. On the flip side, Burnell’s looking to bounce back. He’s coming off a submission loss to Michael Dufort.

Kasanganay? He didn’t waste any time with Alex Polizzi. Knocked him out on the same card on April 12, bagging six points. Now, he’s got his sights set on Nedoh. Nedoh? He’s coming off a first-round knockout loss to Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov. Quite the start to this year’s season, huh?

Oh, and let’s not forget the other big names on the card. We’re talking about seasoned fighters like Patricky Pitbull, Brent Primus, Sadibou Sy, and Antonio Carlos Junior.
