Conor McGregor & Other Pros React to Mike Perry’s Quick Knockout at BKFC KnuckleMania 4

Mike Perry defeated former UFC veteran Thiago Alves in just 60 seconds at the KnuckleMania 4 headliner, leading to reactions from fellow pro fighters and a callout from Perry to Darren Till.

Mike Perry, huh? He sure did make good on his word, didn’t he? Promised us a quick and easy night at BKFC’s annual biggie. And boy, did he deliver.

He was up against Thiago Alves, another UFC vet, at KnuckleMania 4. This was Saturday, at the Peacock Theater in LA. “Platinum” Perry, as he’s known, took all of 60 seconds to floor Alves. One big left hand was all it took.

Alves? Yeah, he got up before the 10-count. But he was wobbly, couldn’t keep his balance. The ref had to call it.

After the win, Perry was on fire. He called out Darren Till in his post-fight promo. Even gave a shout-out to Nate Diaz, who was in the crowd. Respectful, that was.

Other pro fighters were there, too. Conor McGregor, for one. He’s a new co-owner of BKFC. They all watched Perry’s handiwork, reacted to his stoppage win. Perry’s the face of the promotion, after all.

Terrance McKinney tweeted, “They should just rename it to Mike Perry’s BKFC for now on.” McGregor had his own take, tweeting, “Do a patsy off the platsy” and “Platinum with no platinum.”

“Filthy” Tom Lawlor tweeted, ““Platinum” Mike Perry proved his metal with a precious left hook and sends Thiago Alves to the kennel. He calls out anyone, everyone, and no one all at the same time but he proves he really is the King of Violence #BKFCKM4.”

BRYAN BARBERENA chimed in, “Seems to me Perry needs himself a real brawler to brawl with #bkfc.”

And that’s the story. Perry, the King of Violence, proving his mettle. Or should we say, his “metal?”
