Dan Ige’s One-Shot Knockout of Andre Fili at UFC Vegas 86: Pros React

Dan Ige, also known as “50K”, knocked out Andre Fili at UFC Vegas 86, earning praise from fellow fighters and calls for a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

Dan Ige’s nickname, “50K,” isn’t just for show. He’s proven it time and again.

This past Saturday, at UFC Vegas 86, he gave us another reminder. He was up against Andre Fili in the co-main event. And boy, did he deliver!

Ige landed a dynamite right hand. It was a clean shot, right on the money. Fili didn’t stand a chance. He was down for the count.

Ige’s knockout punch was wicked. It left everyone, including his fellow fighters, in awe.

Kamaru Usman and Belal Muhammad, both welterweight stars in the UFC, were impressed. They called for Ige to get a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Megan Anderson, too, had something to say. She described Ige’s punch as “too freaking clean.”

This was a big win for Ige. He had a few words for Fili, his former training partner, after the fight. He joked about needing to finish quickly because his wife is expecting.

Ige’s record? He’s won three of his last four fights. Two of those were by knockout.

The MMA community had a lot to say about this fight. Check out some reactions below.

Chris Curtis, aka The Action Man, tweeted, “People are going to learn to stop calling out people you’ve trained with. Lol some of us are considerate training partners, but when there is money on the line… whelp. Way to f’n go @Dynamitedan808 #UFCVegas86”

Derek Brunson‘s reaction? “FREEIGE. That was the easiest play of the day!”
