Michael Page’s octagon debut was a classic display. Though he didn’t exactly set the crowd on fire, he walked out of Kaseya Center victorious against Kevin Holland at UFC 299.

Page’s striking game was on point. His explosive, karate-inspired style, which had baffled his Bellator opponents, was on full display. The judges appreciated his performance, handing him unanimous 29-28 scorecards.

There was a shaky moment in the second round. Holland managed to ground Page and launched an assault from the top. Despite this, “MVP” was mostly in control. However, not all his peers were impressed.
