Ryan Garcia pulled off a stunning upset by knocking down Devin Haney three times and winning a unanimous decision, becoming the first man to defeat Haney in a professional contest, despite missing weight and being unable to claim Haney’s WBC super lightweight title.

In what’s been one of the weirdest run-ups to a fight in recent memory, the controversial boxer pulled off a shocker. He knocked Devin Haney down three times, securing a jaw-dropping unanimous decision win on Saturday night in Brooklyn.
Garcia was overweight by 3.2 pounds, so he couldn’t claim Haney’s WBC super lightweight title. But, he still left the Barclays Center as one of the biggest names in boxing. He’s the first man to defeat Haney in a professional contest.
