LOOK: Liam McGeary Shows Gruesome X-Ray Of Broken Jaw

Former Bellator champions Liam McGeary and Phil Davis went head-to-head at Bellator 220 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Saturday, April 27. The light heavyweight contest took place on the main card with Davis earning a TKO victory.

Unfortunately for McGeary, he suffered a gruesome injury during the bout that could keep him on the sideline for an extended period of time.

Following the bout, McGeary took to social media to share photo of an x-ray that reveals a broken jaw.

Ugh… the jaw cracked in the second round and the tooth went in the 3rd. Soon as that arm came round and touched my jaw that was enough for me guys!! That hurt like a mutha f*cka and you know I can take some sh*t too!!! F*ck it man, I was too worried about the takedowns in the first i was hesitant.
Shit you took me down in the 3rd and I got right back the f*ck up! I’ve stepped my game up man, wrestlers dont bother me anymore…. just the bloody dentist hahah
Congrats @philmrw good sh*t mate, enjoyed throwing down with you man. I’ll see yo uin the bar for a beer when I get done here

There is currently no timetable for McGeary’s return.
