The UFC may have its work cut out trying to figure out an opponent to battle Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title.
Kamaru Usman last stepped into the Octogan at UFC 245 to defend his welterweight battle. In one of the most exciting fights of 2019, Usman defeated Colby Covington via TKO. Questions have been asked who should fight Usman next. Usman believed that Leon Edwards should be next in line and apparently forgot about the #3 contender Jorge Masvidal.
Both Masvidal and Usman made appearances at the UFC 246 media week ahead of Conor Mcgregor‘s return. Usman insisted on media day that Masvidal does not want to fight him. Masvidal ideally stated he would want a McGregor fight but isn’t backing down from a Usman scrap if McGregor does not want to fight.
Well, the 2 men came face to face in Miami where Superbowl LIV will be taking place. TMZ obtained a video where an altercation between the two took place.

In the video, you can hear Usman say,
“Do something, you talking, do something.”
Masvidal responds “You are lucky you got a cast on b****. That’s the only reason nothing is going to happen to you.”
The two men were eventually separated but we can only imagine that this can be a great promo between a potential Masvidal and Usman fight this year.
