Mike Perry Challenges Jorge Masvidal, Responds to Dillon Danis Next Bout Request

After defeating ex-UFC champion Eddie Alvarez, Mike Perry expressed interest in fighting Jorge Masvidal, Anthony Pettis, or Dillon Danis in what could potentially be the biggest bare-knuckle fight of all time.

Mike Perry’s got his eyes on the prize when it comes to his next fight. Ideally, he’s got the perfect opponent in mind.

He stopped ex-UFC champion Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56 on Saturday. Perry, now the “King of Violence,” suggested Anthony Pettis as a potential opponent.

But wait, two days later, Perry’s got another idea. He’s thinking about what could be the biggest bare-knuckle fight of all time.

Perry’s got mad respect for Jorge Masvidal. He’s never called him out before, but he’s thinking about it now. They bumped into each other at a fight promotion, had a chat about it. Perry might’ve been a bit tipsy, but he thinks the fans would love to see them duke it out.

Masvidal’s a legend, no doubt about it. Perry grew up watching him and Kimbo Slice on YouTube. He’s thinking, who else has bare-knuckle boxing experience and isn’t in BKFC? That’d be a megafight, right?

Before UFC titles, Masvidal was known for backyard brawls with Kimbo Slice. Now, he runs his Gamebred promotion, hosting bare-knuckle MMA fights. He retired in April, but there are whispers about a comeback.

Perry knows Masvidal’s worried about hand injuries after a long MMA career. But he thinks a bare-knuckle fight between them would be a massive draw.

A big payday could make it interesting for Masvidal. Perry’s sure of it.

Masvidal’s got killer moves, everyone knows that. Perry thinks Masvidal might be willing to toughen up his knuckles for a big enough check. After all, he’s the original bare-knuckle street fighter.

Masvidal’s a beast. He’s ended people in MMA, and it’s not just wrestling. Perry’s not looking for a strategy, it’s all about respect. He likes Masvidal, considers him a friend. He’s just thinking about the biggest possible fight.

Masvidal’s the dream fight for Perry, but he knows there are other options for his 2024 return. Maybe Pettis, or UFC veteran Darren Till, or even Dillon Danis, who called him out on Saturday night.

Danis tweeted, “Let’s do it bare-knuckle for the belt f*** it,” after facing off with Perry.

Perry isn’t sure if Danis is serious, but he knows the ex-Bellator fighter and Conor McGregor disciple brings attention. That could mean pay-per-view buys.

Perry appreciates the attention Danis brings. He likes his “King of Violence” title and belt. He’s not sure if Danis would be serious once an offer hits his table. But David Feldman’s no joke.

Perry doesn’t know what Danis would bring to the ring. Especially after Danis didn’t do much in a recent boxing match with Logan Paul.

But if Danis really wants the fight, Perry’s open to it.

Perry thinks Logan outboxed Danis pretty good. But maybe it would’ve been different in bare-knuckle. Would Logan have been able to take the shots? Who knows.

If Danis is interested and starts trash-talking, it could get billions of views on social media. The whole world would want to watch. Perry’s down for that.
