Mike Perry Stops Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56: Professional Reactions

Mike Perry defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the “King of Violence” title at BKFC 56, with the bout ending after two rounds due to Alvarez’s inability to see from his badly swollen left eye.

So, Mike Perry has snagged the title of the new “King of Violence.” Yup, you heard it right.

The showdown happened on a Saturday night at Maverik Center, Salt Lake City. Perry went head-to-head with Eddie Alvarez for the “King of Violence” title. It was the main event of BKFC 56, and boy, did Perry live up to the hype. He stopped the ex-UFC lightweight champ in just two rounds.

The first round was pretty intense, with Alvarez tagging Perry repeatedly. But Perry, our BKFC star, flipped the script in round two. He walked through massive punches from Alvarez, landing his own powerful hits.

By the end of the round, Alvarez’s left eye was in a bad way, swollen and possibly indicating a broken orbital bone. When “The Underground King” told his coaches he couldn’t see, they called it quits between rounds.

And the combat sports world? They’ve had quite a reaction to Perry’s brutal beatdown of Alvarez.

Billy Quarantillo (@BillyQMMA) tweeted, “Eddie probably won round 1 close round 2 but the corner stops it, Mike Perry by tko.”

Casey Oneill (@kingcaseymma) chimed in with, “I fucking love Mike Perry. The only reason I will watch bkfc #BKFC.”

And Mike Swick (@officialswick) added, “Great fight by @PlatinumPerry! As expected. Just a beast. I love fighters like him and this fight shows the exact contrast of a real savage fighting a technique fighter that didn’t go in there to go out on his shield. This bare-knuckle style is really distinguishing the true…”

So there you have it. The new “King of Violence” is crowned.
