MMA Community Celebrates Christmas, Holidays Amid Bully Gold Theft Incident

The MMA community is taking a break to celebrate the holiday season, with some of the biggest names in the sport sharing their festive moments on social media.

Hey there! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, folks!

As we’re wrapping up 2023, it’s time for the MMA community to kick back and relax. They’ve earned it, right?

This year, like every other, the MMA folks celebrated the holiday season in the good old way. You know, spending quality time with family and friends, spreading that infectious holiday cheer.

Wondering how some of the big shots in MMA spent their Christmas? Let’s take a peek.

Here’s a tweet from Georges St-Pierre. He’s got a funny one for us. He says, “Pour battre le PADRE, je dois attendre qu’il mange pour le surprendre par derrière avec ma prise préférée. Même à Noël, on ne doit jamais baisser la garde chez les St-Pierre…mdr.”

Translation? “To beat the PADRE, I have to wait for him to eat to surprise him from behind with my favorite grip. Even at Christmas, you should never let your guard down at the St-Pierre’s…lol.”

And here’s another tweet from Ilia Topuria. He’s wishing everyone a Merry Christmas in Spanish. “Queremos desearles a todos una Feliz Navidad. Que esta temporada esté llena de momentos preciosos, risas y unión familiar. Que dios siga iluminando nuestros corazones y nos brinde paz y felicidad. ¡Que todos tengan la fuerza de trabajar por sus sueños y volverlos…”

In English, that’s “We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. May this season be filled with precious moments, laughter, and family unity. May God continue to illuminate our hearts and give us peace and happiness. May everyone have the strength to work for their dreams and make them come true…”

So, that’s how the MMA community is ringing in the holiday season. Pretty cool, huh?
